Setting up your Julya AI assistant is easy! First, create your account and verify your email. Then, configure your AI's personality and responses in the dashboard. Finally, set up call forwarding from your business phone to your Julya number. The entire process takes about 10-15 minutes.
Do I need to change my business phone number?
No! You keep your existing business phone number. Julya works by forwarding calls from your current number to our AI system. Your customers will still call the same number they always have.
Do you offer a free trial?
Absolutely. Every plan starts with 25 free minutes so you can try Julya with zero risk.
How much does Julya cost?

How do we connect to our phone system?
We give you a Julya number. Forward your existing line to that number whenever you want Julya to pick up.
Do we need a developer to work with Julya?
No coding needed. Everything is point-and-click, but developers can still connect Julya via Zapier or API if they like.
Can I start using Julya for after hours and overflow calls only?
Absolutely. You can enable Julya for after hours and/or overflow only when you set up conditional call forwarding.
Does Julya stay updated on my business information, like hours?
We'll scan your business hours and other information from you Google Business Profile and website, and you can edit and update the info at any time.
What if I need to forward calls from multiple locations?
Julya supports multi-location businesses. Each location can have its own phone number and customized AI responses. Contact our enterprise team for multi-location setup.
How do I verify my Julya number is working?
After setting up call forwarding, we guide you through a test call to ensure everything is working properly. You can also make test calls anytime from your dashboard.
What information does Julya need about my business?
Julya automatically scans your website and Google Business Profile for basic information. You can then add specific FAQs, service details, pricing, and any special instructions for handling calls.

What if my carrier doesn't support call forwarding?
Almost all carriers support call forwarding, but the setup codes vary. Check our call forwarding guide for carrier-specific instructions. If you're having trouble, contact our support team for assistance.
Can I forward only certain types of calls?
Yes! You can use conditional call forwarding to forward calls only when you're busy, don't answer, or your phone is unreachable. This gives you full control over when Julya handles your calls.
Does Julya work with Google Voice?
Yes. Julya works great with Google Voice, and we provide a step-by-step guide to link them.
How do I turn off call forwarding?
You can disable call forwarding at any time using your carrier's deactivation code (usually *73 or ##21#). Check our carrier-specific guide for exact instructions.
Will call forwarding affect my voicemail?
When unconditional forwarding is active, calls go directly to Julya instead of your voicemail. With conditional forwarding, your voicemail still works when forwarding conditions aren't met.
Can I forward calls from a landline?
Yes! Most landline providers support call forwarding using *72 to activate and *73 to deactivate. Contact your provider for specific instructions.
What's the difference between conditional and unconditional forwarding?
Unconditional forwarding sends all calls to Julya immediately. Conditional forwarding only forwards calls when you're busy, don't answer, or your phone is unreachable - perfect for after-hours or overflow.
Do I need to pay extra for call forwarding?
Most carriers include call forwarding in their plans, but some may charge for forwarded minutes or long-distance forwarding. Check with your carrier for specific charges.

What happens if I exceed my plan's included minutes?
When you're running low on minutes, we'll notify you. You can purchase additional minutes through our credit packs: Glass pack ($25 for 100 minutes) or Bottle pack ($125 for 500 minutes - best value!). Credits never expire as long as you have an active subscription, and they're added instantly to your account.

Troubleshooting
Why are my callers hearing a busy signal?
This usually means the forwarding number was entered incorrectly or your Julya number isn't active yet. Double-check the number in your dashboard and ensure call forwarding is properly set up.
Why isn't conditional forwarding working on my iPhone?
iPhone's Live Voicemail feature can interfere with conditional forwarding. You'll need to disable Live Voicemail in Settings > Phone > Live Voicemail.
Why did the setup code not work?
This can happen due to weak cellular signal or Wi-Fi Calling interference. Try disabling Wi-Fi Calling temporarily, ensure you have strong cellular signal, and dial the code again.
Why am I not receiving call notifications?
Check your notification settings in the Admin dashboard. Ensure your email and phone number are verified and notification preferences are enabled.
Why is Julya not answering some calls?
This could be due to call forwarding not being active, conditional forwarding rules, or account minute limits. Check your forwarding status and account balance.
How do I fix poor call quality?
Call quality issues are rare but can occur with poor internet connectivity at the caller's end. Julya's infrastructure ensures high-quality calls from our side.
What should I do if Julya gives incorrect information?
